OH MAI I drew something feral! This never happens! D:

So I was watching

falvie streaming some speedpainting and her technique really surprised me as something I haven't thought to try before - she plops down some sketchy lines, throws a medium/dark grey behind it, flattening down to one layer, then adds in the lighting and shades bit by bit over top of that, sticking to one layer and greyscale throughout. I was like WHOA THAT LOOKS FUN so I totally stole her technique. x3

I think the coloring part is what tripped me up the most, but trying to figure out the right settings and techniques to use to do the shading and highlights on one layer was pretty tough as well. I love how it came out in the end, though! Totally doing more of this kind of thing in the future
