Nah, this is the easiest sort of colour blending there is.. you just keep throwing in more colour until you get the shapes you want in the intensity that makes them work. The hardest things are blending across different layers. If that goes wrong it becomes a flat mess, and there'll be nothing to do about it other than starting over.
