The Kemonokuns new Clothes
hollow_men0001-1219.mp4.mp4
Another Blender animation, this time a lipsync test. Its my other, rather cartoony and yet nameless Fox Character giving you a little poetry reading! Its T.S. Elliots "The Hollow Men" - originally read by Tom O'Bedlam. Only the first verse though (was quite enough work doing this as it is)

Yet again i am really interested in comments and honest critique, for i am still learning this whole CG thingie and really want to get better at it in the future :)

The voice of the reader definitely gives an aire of dignity to the poem.

Its a good start, but if I may offer a bit of critique, the upper lip seems almost stationary while the lower lip seems to operate on a hinge. It gives the illusion that the bottom lip opens at an angle instead of like a natural jaw. if the character were stationary with an open mouth seen in profile I have the impression that where the lower jaw joins the upper one would be a right-angle. I dont have any experience with this so Im just giving an observation but I would look at some videos of canines barking or howling and watch them in slow motion to get a feel for how the muzzle parts should move. Disney movies like Zootopia are a good reference too.
