Seems a group of cubs (including a rather familiar rabbit ) stumbled across Roxanna's cabin around dinnertime. What's an Evil Witch to do, but cook up their cute lil' bodies and mount their cute lil' still-living heads on the wall to watch! The weirdest thing, though, seems to be that only one of the cubs actually seems to *care*.
They'll be fine, though, she'll give 'em their bodies back, good as new, before too long. Roxanna isn't THAT evil!

In a fan-fic on Oz, about the pinnacle of my fan-fic phase (2002), the living gump head, mounted on the wall, undergoes a sudden radical change. In a dizzyingly realized scene, his body dynamically regenerates ! This starts an event storm that saves the day.
The villain's turning Oz's magic inside-out, upside-down and backwards, set off Oz's Giving Force ! That's the only explanation for what happened to the gump head.
