I can just see a paw sliding down the furry back to the tail base. Giving the top a good scratching getting the tail to rise. Then wrapping the fingers around, thumb over the other side and rubbing the fingers along the underside of the tail base. A finger slides over the tail hole, down between the butt cheeks then back up as he gives the tail a squeeze. A finger finds the tail hole again and presses in, wiggling about.
