Character Description
Luneth is a mercenary in the world of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. His weapon specialty is the sword and shield. He sees the Shakalaka children Cha Cha and Kayamba as his own children, and feels responsible for them. Thus, this causes him to become exasperated with any of their pranks and antics. He also freaks out easily about anything that he sees as absurd, weird, or just plain wrong. He is good friends with another hunter, named Argent.
Personality
No-nonsense attitude. He is very fatherly towards Cha Cha and Kayamba, and comes across as stoic when you first meet him. Very loyal to his friends and would lay down his life for them without hesitation. He hardly yells, but when he does, he gets kinda loud.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Getting the job done, making way too many weapons he can handle, being a role model and father figure to Kayamba and Cha Cha.
Dislikes: The Flooded Forest (he sees it as filthy and dreadfully wet), being forced to resolve the arguments of others, anything he sees as highly unusual or unorthodox.
Background/History
When Luneth was just starting out in the Moga village, he came across Cha Cha, who began to call him "Papa Luneth" after they got to know each other better while doing several quests together. Not long after that, Luneth had to rescue Kayamba from a Duramboros. Thinking it was Cha Cha, he set out to do so right away. Even when he saw that it wasn't him, he took Kayamba in anyway. Kayamba, too, began calling him "Papa". When Cha Cha had returned from finding out the real cause behind the earthquakes, he and Kayamba were surprised to see each other. They eventually resolved their differences and became the best of friends, much to Luneth's relief. Kayamba revealed to both him and Cha Cha that she is female, during an incident while fighting Jhen Mohren. Not only did this news shock them, but it intrigued Luneth to the point where he became obsessed with her, wanting to know all about their culture, and why all Shakalaka children had to go through a rite of passage to be deemed as responsible adults. This behavior eventually begins scaring Kayamba, and she runs away. When Luneth and Cha Cha discover that she is missing, they decide to stop doing any quests for the guild until they can find her. When they do, she apologizes for running away, and that she only did so because Luneth was frightening her with his unusual behavior. Luneth then makes a promise to never do that again, so she agrees to come back to the village. Several weeks later, Cha Cha discovers her diary when Luneth tells him to go to her bedroom and try to find her so they could finish an urgent quest they had received from the guild. Upon reading it, he finds out that Kayamba is pregnant. When she catches him in her bedroom, she tells him everything, then pleads for him to not tell anyone, not even Luneth. Cha Cha comforts her and gives her his word that her secret would be safe. However, further along into her pregnancy, her baby bump became noticeable, which worried Luneth. He corners Cha Cha and asks him if he was the one who did that to her. Without giving him time to answer, he tells Cha Cha that he ought to feel ashamed for not telling anybody about it. He then storms away, and begins to silently mourn for Kayamba, because he sees her and Cha Cha as his very own.

Body
Tan skin, straight burnt orange hair, bright blue eyes. Has a medium-to-small height, and slightly muscular frame.
Clothing
Mainly sticks with his Rathalos armor, and never goes without his metal hairband with eye cover. When doing work for the guild, he arms himself with his sword and shield, Djinn.
