An assortment of hair styles I've considered for my character Akkamui. Also great practice with altering existing images. I could have matched the color for all the hair cuts, but I wanted to get lots of practice with the hue/saturation tool.
Tramp is the hair cut I've been drawing him with, but I'm not especially happy with it.
Braided is a pony tail made out of microbraids. I REALLY like microbraids. It's based from a mohawk because I saw a woman on public transit with hair like that and it was the coolest thing ever.
Wavey is a side shaved style, sort of a very long mohawk, and based off one of the bosses from Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Swing Bob is a rare case where I know what the hair cut's proper name is, though this is a pretty extreme version. It's based off of the Siren from Borderlands 2.
Flat is a hair cut anime fans tend to love, though in Japan it seems to be associated with girls too lazy to do anything with their hair... though it's probably more complicated than that.
Clipped is just very long hair with a hair clip to hold it out of his face.
Ribbon, similarly, his long hair tied back with a large ribbon, inspired by Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown.
Punk is yet another side-shaved style, but this time presented as a one sided swing-bob and cut shorter than the others.
So there we go, hair styles the girly boy might be adopting in the near future!
