As I mentioned before, during my time with Twisted Kaiju Theater's K-Girls I ended up the unofficial warden of the pre-teen "little sister" characters that became known collectively as the K-Juniors. While most were originally intended for comedic purposes, Shin-Goji's and my mutual affection for lolicon smut meant they quickly became pin-up fodder like the older K-Girls (in my defense, there were already two K-Juniors already smutted up in the galleries before I even got there). When Shin got married and, coincidentally, various Internet providers began cracking down on lolicon, most of the K-Junior stuff was removed from the galleries and, as of last year, ALL of the galleries were removed from his servers; a good portion of my contributions have already been uploaded here.
After the galleries were removed, several of the older K-Girl artists were approached about their forgotten characters and, in some cases, ownership of them changed and, with the help fo my friend Kaijumorpher, I ended up gaining ownership/stewardship of two of the three K-Juniors that I didn't create or design (the third belonging to my friend Roequ, who removed her from circulation and aged her to double-D-cup adulthood like the other K-Girls).
Of course, since I'm still...ambivalent about my lolicon works, I decided to use most of them in a more all-ages friendly concept, and started working on a concept that is probably best described as a Shonen Jump style high school continuation of Toho's Heisei Eiga of the 80s and 90s ("Godzilla 1985" through "Godzilla versus Destoroyah"). Of course, I needed to flesh out some of the cast, including some characters that were older in the previous K-Girl galleries...as a nod to both their original K-Girl designation and the name of the new lead character, I dubbed the project "K-Juniors."
First off is the lead Juniya, aka "Junior," based off of the Godzilla Junior kaiju, a headstrong, hot-blooded anime hero who, contrary to the norm, is actually a girl...it actually comes as a surprise to her classmates as well. She is a total Godzilla groupie, seeing herself as the natural-born inheritor of the title "King of Monsters" (despite the whole girl thing) and coming to grips with her own sexism and feminity while still learning how to kick monster ass and take names was going to be the thrust of her character arc. And yes, for the record, she IS wearing both a Godzilla hoodie AND one of her "Godzilla Smash" gloves, which are kinda like the old "Hulk Hands" toys from a few years back only they make the Godzilla roar when you smack them on something (admit it, you want them).
Second is Minnie, based on the Showa Eiga Baby Godzilla, Miniya. She was the first replacement character, since the previous Miniya girl is the one made by Roequ. However, unlike the others, Minnie is actually an adult, Juni's college-aged foster sister...which, ironically, also makes her older than 95% of the original K-Girls as well. She loves her kid sister, but loves to burst her overly-serious bubble more; she's also a total geek pervert who is prone to writing erotic fan fiction and taking nude selfies.
Thirdly is Imomu, the Mothra Larva girl originally created by Lucid Dakou but now, pending a frustratingly difficult commission, owned by me. I redesigned her a little once I studied the actual appearance of the Mothra Larva themselves.
Lastly, Gabe, the Gabara boy and low-ranked school bully. Another replacement for one of Roequ's girls, the much older (and deliciously bootylicious) Gabby, Gabe is, like Minnie, one of the exceptions to the Heisei Eiga roster, his "source kaiju" being a one-shot Showa kaiju who bullied Miniya. Since he gets taken down in the very first story, however, I didn't see any real problem.
I kinda stalled on the project in general due to my attempts to focus on my own original characters instead of more fan-parodies like the K-Girls, plus the fact that Toho protects their properties with Disney-like fervor (seriously, even Shin got notice from them once, and TKT is a toy comic) but I still kinda want to develop it some.
