Character Sheet for Byaal Rhek'Duuin
Background/History
For many Earth years Byaal Rhek'Duuin was stationed on a space station orbiting Noltis, in charge of keeping track of the incoming and outgoing transports. It grew quite secluded with little to no other crew members to keep it company. Its silent tedium often caused its superiors to mistake it for a dedicated and patient leader who held out in the most boring job there was. And for such, Byaal was promoted several times over, until it reached the rank Lieutenant Colonel.
With the impending invasion of Earth, several scouting crews would be arriving on the planet, the Qwuedeviv leaders decided to replace Byaal with someone else as overseer of transport and sent it off to Earth. The higher-ups thought that the bored Deviv could use a bit of action.
Accepting of the change, Byaal was sent to Earth, where it joined up with Crew 87 and replaced the crew's current leader on account of rank. The crew saw it as a logical transition that a higher ranking officer should be in charge. Although the now second in command does retain trace amounts of jealousy at the loss of complete authority.
World/Setting
Noltis is a quite isolated icy planet located within Qwuedeviv space. It's commonly used as an alternative for interrogation, as the harsh climate easily breaks those who are not prepared to face the cold wastelands. If the weather doesn't break them, the Qwuedeviv stationed there do. It is common that personnel on the transports mock the prisoners on the way there, telling them that it's "the end of the line". It is psychological warfare of the highest degree, as most prisoners cling to hopes of one day escaping from the bleak landscape. It is commonly known between the Qwuedeviv that prisoners arriving there will never leave. Even after they have revealed their secrets in exchange for their freedom, they are simply left there as a form of cruel amusement to the Qwuedeviv overseers.
