Background/History
Parrot Grass was found by the legendary space pirate Cobra in a hermit's cabin in the middle of an Aztec temple in space. He and Rock Knight helped Cobra out on his adventure and later on appeared to have died as an imposter. Rock Knight, after waking up to find his house on fire due to Crystal Boy's goons, escaped with Parrot Grass to save the galaxy from greater evils. If you haven't heard of it, that's why.
Now Parrot Grass is retired and works on whatever tickles his fancy.

World/Setting
His native world and the nature of his species is unknown to mortal men, and for the sake of national security, it's better that way.
Body
Looks much like a normal flower at a passing glance, but is actually a fully sentient plant with a flower shaped like a bird's head, complete with eyes, beak and tongue.
