Property prices suck crap, but cost of living isn't that bad. 10 plates of sushi for around $10 US. Most Japanese people don't care about tourists, but some find it fun to try out their 'engrish'. I didn't have a bad experience there, though I'm much different then your average tourist. I know 'things'.

Most people that want to go to Japan don't even speak Japanese aside from what they think they know.
The Japanese nation doesn't speak Romanji anymore. And it's expensive as hell to live there, hard to find work, and if you aren't completely sufficient at language and writing, you'll basically be scrutinized for every little verbal or written mistake that you make to the point of emotional trauma.

The Kirin in monster hunter is a scaled unicorn, not pegasus, pegasus have wings °w° In the miths, a kirin as a half dragon, half ox creature, ox body and a dragon head. Lord of Arcana also has it's own version of the kirin.
