Even though there are twenty-one years between them, Ciara and her younger half-sister Brigit have always been as close as any normal siblings. It was Ciara who rescued Brigit from the lynx Queen when she was only a year old. It was Ciara who did all the things Brigit's mother was too busy to do, like read her bedtime stories and teach her about history and her place in the world. Most importantly, Ciara has always been there whenever Brigit needed someone to turn to.
For those who may be wondering, Brigit is a pure-bred red fox. She's royalty, even! She just had her tail docked by the lynxes who kidnapped her.
