It's a lovely picture to be sure but I find this far too bulky for Rarity... this is more of a Pinkie or Mrs. Cake build.

The foreshortening in particular - or lack thereof - makes her look much fatter than she would otherwise. Her thigh, which is almost straight up, is touching her tits - which couldn't happen unless they reached from her armpits to past her navel - and between that and the troubles with depth perception either she has no torso to speak of or they're each as big as her head. (Again, Mrs. Cake.)

Her ass is absolutely enormous, and while that may be appealing on some girls, I find it does not fit the grace of Lady Rarity.

Thank you for the time to give me some critique and I hope this is cohesive enough answer to some things you have pointed out:

The way I drew her legs were to be slightly bent (not straight up) and they push up against her chest. I used a reference for this image (of myself) to be absolutely sure my foreshortening wasn't too off and only really modified the bust fit for what I wanted in this particular body type of Rarity. And at this angle, yes, there is no real visible torso due to foreshortening.

I have drawn Rarity with many different builds. I do get bored with sticking to one ideal build for any of the characters so I draw them in many different ways. I don't mind a heavy Rarity as much as I don't mind a slimmer build - I guess it all boils down to your own unique preference which isn't really something you can say is wrong with the picture; just that it doesn't suit your personal liking.

Hope that covers everything.

I love it, I think its beautiful.

I see nothing wrong with the pose, actually. Ive seen that post many times and it just depends on the person. Some people have shorter torsos than others.

As for the build, you're right, having the same build for every character gets boring. And unless you were going for 'this is EXACTLY what rarity would look like if she were anthro' theres nothing wrong with your build choice. Some people are just picky.

I love everything about this picture.
The pose (which I haven't seen drawn very often) is a pleasant one. The curves of her thighs, the ever so slight bend of her knees, even the tilt of her neck actually compliment her wavy hair very nicely. In all I see it as a very graceful pose.

I believe what I love most about this picture, however, are her left hand and the soft expression on her face. How do you draw hands so well? Ah, that doesn't matter. The point is that this is a very lovely picture. Please keep up the awesome work. <3
