OC warning!
Okay, this is most likely the last one for today. :D So I drew this today, and originally, it was just gonna be Cammie dreaming in bed about him and Tails, but I decided to have him be sleeping in class around Sonic and Tails.
And oh, my gosh, Tails' desk is bugging me so much! XO I had drawn it wrong and couldn't figure out how to fix it. :/
Anyway, here's a little story I wrote about the drawing:
"Ugh... So boring..." Cammie looked at the chalkboard behind him. On it was written, "Tenth Grade Honors English", and next to it was, "Write an essay describing your favorite person." As much as he loved writing, the red hedgehog could not stand essays. They stifled his creativity. He just couldn't believe that it was his first day of class, and he was already required to write an essay. He understood that it was two grade levels above where he was supposed to be, and that it was an honors class, "But still..." he whispered to himself as he looked at his paper, which only had a heading on it.
He looked to his right and saw a cute eight-year-old orange fox named Miles Prower who was about the smartest person that anyone in the school knew. Miles, more often called by his nickname, Tails, was in tenth grade despite being seven years younger than fifteen. As Cammie looked at the writing two-tailed kitsune, he couldn't help but blush. He had had a crush on the little kit for about a year, and he had only told one or two people about his long-running crush.
But unfortunately, that probably wasn't going to happen. The hedgie looked to the left and saw a blue hedgehog writing his paper. This fifteen-year-old blue hedgehog, Ogilvie Maurice Hedgehog, better known as Sonic, had been in a relationship with the fox for about a year now. The cobalt hedgehog had tried to deny it each time he was asked, but everyone knew there was something going on between the two of them.
The fact that Tails already had a boyfriend made things a bit difficult for Cammie. He didn't want to ruin Sonic and Tails' relationship... but at the same time, he would much rather be the one who had Tails to himself.
Well... if he couldn't make it happen, then he had to write about it. That was the way his mind worked. He had a topic for his essay. He began writing, his pencil blazing across the page at high speeds as he wrote about his golden kitsune. Within half an hour, he was finished with six paragraphs. All right! he exclaimed in his mind. This is an awesome paper!
He looked up from the paper and scanned the room. Most everyone wasn't even near done, and there were still about forty-five minutes left in the block. Well, what am I supposed to do now? Seeing nothing else he could do, he set his arms and head down on his desk and closed his eyes. He didn't have the intention of falling asleep, but he could feel himself drifting off into sleep, and he couldn't stop himself as he slipped fully into it.
He started dreaming while he was asleep. He dreamt of kissing, but he didn't dream of kissing just anyone. He dreamt of kissing Tails. Little did he know that, while he was in dreamland, he murmured in his sleep. There was a small, "Mmm... Tails..." that escaped from the mouth on his blushy muzzle.
Both Tails and Sonic had heard him mumble this, and Tails' first thought was, What on Mobius is that hedgehog dreaming about? as he blushed. Well, he tried to think that. Honestly, he thought it was quite nice that someone besides Sonic would dream about him. And besides, he and the cobalt hedgehog had just broken it off a couple days ago. Maybe he would ask this hedgehog out. Cammie, huh? Never thought he'd like a fox like me.
Sonic, on the other hand, had quite a different opinion. That hedgehog better not steal my little fox. He and Tails had broken up, but he still wanted his orange fox. He didn't want anyone to take Tails. Not on his watch. And he didn't trust Cammie. He didn't have any actual reason for not trusting him. The main reason he didn't trust him is because he didn't want to trust him.
The cobalt hedgie spent the rest of the block glaring at the crimson hedgehog next to him. If he made a move on Tails... Well, one couldn't even begin to describe what Sonic's rage would be like.
Soon enough, the bell rang, releasing the students from class, and Cammie awoke with a start. Aww, man... And that dream was just getting to the good part...
As he walked up and placed his essay on the teacher's desk, he heard someone from behind him say, "Hey, Cammie."
He turned around and saw Tails smiling at him. Oh, Chaos! he shouted in his mind. He's actually talking to me! What do I do?! However, he got himself under control and replied, "Hi, Tails," with a smile.
"So, uh," started the orange kitsune, "I was wondering... How would you like to eat lunch with me today?"
As hard as he tried not to, the red hedgehog couldn't help but blush as he nodded. "S-sure. I'd love to."
Tails closed his eyes and smiled. "Great! How about we walk down there together."
Cammie was so nervous that all he could do was nod and follow Tails.
Meanwhile, back in the classroom, Sonic was still there, getting more than a tad angry. "That dreaming fox stealer..."
