As a quick doodle to get myself back on track with my new computer I did this. My first Tanuki. Always wanted to make one but totally always forgot.

Still trying to think of a name for her. Maybe Kozo... I don't know, I'll think more about it later as well as her clothing design. She practices all sorts of magic, along with leaf magic~

Time to get back to work.

A lovely piece of an adorable subject.
If I may say though, and I hope I'm not out of line in saying this ...
The glasses seem like a late add-on to the picture. Now this may just be me, or the particular colour used contrasting with the rest of the palatte ... it just seems slightly out of place and stands out as not quite gelling to me.
Now, I am no artist, and have no intention to criticise what is an excelent piece of work, I just felt the need to mention this as it did stand out, at least for me.
Anyway. Thanks for listening (reading) and good luck with your wonderful artworks.

Aye. I added them just before saving and going to bed because it was some 2 am.

'twas but a doodle to break in my new machine so I wasn't worried with proportion, detail, or anatomy. I just had fun with it~ And thanks.
