In my French 3 class, I used to be named Leon 2, only because there was another Leon in my class. I didn't mind, and because I was the only "2" in the class of all the names, I considered myself special and the name grew on me. I originally picked this french name in French 1 because of Squall from FF8.

Non.

Dieu mans God in French. Deux means the number 2 in french.

I see. It sounds almost like "Deus", so I thought it meant "God". French is an interesting language, some believe it's the language of love and romance.

I know some basic french. I was in french for three years in High School.

I could disagree with people that French is the language of love. I don't find it very romantic, especially with the annoying grammar that gives all french-learners a massive headache.

Learning new languages is never easy, I had my hard times too when I was learning English. The funny part is that my teacher, who was Russian, taught me a lot more than my second teacher, who was American.

I find it funny, because it feels like learning French from an American but then learning none from an actual French teacher.
