Brick's Origin Story:
Years ago on the shore of the New World there was merman that attacked fisherman town which a little boy named Rick was helping his father catch some fish for dinner. The town folk tried to subdue the merman and failed with the town in flames, however some of the survivors were able to contact the navy for help. However, merman over heard and wanted to take out any witness to his crimes. Ricks's father used a near by gun to blind the beast so, his family can escape. His mother told him to stay safe while she checks to see if it's safe. Then, he heard a scream and it was his mother impaled trough the heart by the merman's nose which enrage rick to grab a sword and cut off the sword. With her last breath she gave him her cross to remember him and merman was about to finish off rick when the navy came and scared off the merman. Some of the them search the town for the wanted merman and found nothing. Since, rick was the only witness and was taken to navy base for protection. He decided to join the Navy out revenge for his family and friend that were lost in the blaze, but was denied cause he was too young and inexperienced for combat.In fact, Captain Coby overheard and wanted to train the boy, but will teach him the way to protect the innocent people with the fist of justice. years have past and rick was ready to take on the world but, Cody tried to warn him about how the pirates can be unpredictable in situations. Rick just said whatever and notice a wanted that says needle nose merman that was after an devil which was the same one that attacked and killed his family years ago. The merman named Needle nose Lee had hold up and ordered the merchant to hand him the devil fruit or lease. with a speed of lighting quickly grab the fruit and said looking for this with a grin of satisfaction on his face. With red on his face said hand me that fruit now!!!! which rick then swallowed the fruit which caused him to weigh like a ton and hard to move around. Then, Lee stabbed his shoulder out of spite and was about to finish the job when Coby saved rick and sent lee flying out a window. Out of discouraged of being saved when he did not wanted to be left the and on the pursuit on being a pirate to get revenge oh his killer and preferred to called Brick Von Ronheart of the The Berserk-er Pirates.
