Here we have zoey and volter and a concept that was on my mind for a long time. volter is here to protect zoey from any danger that crosses her path but originally he protected Frita, so why is he with zoey now? it's because after Frita was mutated by turrnet venom and the magic lava stone, she asked volter if he would protect her little sister. volter is one of three protection specters, there's heater, which is mia's protector and Froster, which is max's. the reason Zoey never had one before is b/c she's not a Gex, they recieved these three specters from their father. another aspect that is important to know is that volter is anchored to zoey's heart, so he can feel her emotions and be there when she needs him.
