back story? daffy the gremlin pretty much raped derpy, during his wacky adventures and mischief when he found himself in equestria, he eyed derpy and like what he saw. (it was her odd looking eyes much like his own that attracted him)
after that fateful day of daffy boinking derpy, 9 months later -HE happened.
a hybrid gremlin/Pegasus name dopey hoooves he has the personality much like his father, a wacky insane nut ball who likes to cause choas and pranks and gets in all sorts of trouble. ---he inherited his mother's and father's googly eyes. and of course wings.
he is a good child at heart, when raised properly by his mother. --but he still gets into trouble and causes woes to the ponys of ponyville. but of course, like a good mother, derpy corrects him. --if not for derpy, dopey would become worse than the parasprites and discord combind.
after all, being half gremlin, he cant help himself but mess with your stuff. and cause your day to be a bad one.
he also has uncontrollable laughter that would annoy the hell out of you.
oh. and dinky doesn't like nor conciture him 'her brother' she sees him as an abomination.
derpy is trying to teach her to be good to him though.
much magic of friendship does dinky need to learn.
