Character Sheet for Tarak
Character Description
Tarak is a poor class piccori who decided to go under the tutelage of Master Smith Melari at age of 12. Two minish years later, he's not even close to pass from minning for Ore.
Personality
Stubborn in his goals but shy with others, Tarak is a weird mixture of resolution and shyness. Playing often the role of an adventurer more han a minner or blacksmith he's cheerful all the time, even if he happens to suffer an injury while working or adventuring.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Fruit, grains, play hearing the rain from away in safety, spending time with Deril.
Dislikes: Monsters, seeing his friends suffer, quit something he has started.
Background/History
Tarak comes from a very poor family back in Minish Woods. Curiously, his best friend in the woods is Deril, a high class family Minish. While other kids his age spend time learning to craft shoes for humans, read books and that, Tarak always was out in the woods adventuring dragging along Deril. By age 11, while other kids started to fancy the female minish, Tarak found himself surprised that he wasn't interested in female minish at all, but his heart always beat fast when going near Deril. At first he decided to deny it and at age 12 he decided to go under Melari's tutelage. But the separation proved him wrong since he felt empty away from his friend. Nevertheless, both of them still went out adventuring and during one his expeditions they went into the Temple of Droplets. It started as an accidented trip when the ice road that lead to the entrance crumbled making them sink in the waters inside the temple. Deril who only had his gear and a dagger forged in secret by Tarak for him managed to squirm his way out of the water; but Tarak who had his hammer tied to the back sank almost to the bottom. His life was saved by his friend and after regaining consciousness, they continued exploring, fighting monsters and looking for treasures. The cold enviroment was paying its effects on Deril, so Tarak gave his his shirt so the forest minish would be warm. Walking their way, Tarak's feelings betrayed him as he gropped Deril's hand, but much for his surprise, Deril corresponded the hold and smiled at him blushing. The adventure lead them to a room full of monsters where he got injured in the arm. After struggling their way forward, they reached an empty room; yet due to being shirtless, Tarak was starting to froze. Deril did what was in his power to keep him warm, what led them to confess his feelings, being Tarak the one taking the risk. Deril smiled accepting and admiting his owns. Both decided to make love so they could warm up. Hours later, sweating and warm enough, they found the final room and managed to return to the surface.
Currently, they admited publically their feelings and against what they thought, there was no uproar, even Melari told them they looked good together.
Recently, Melari has been thinking that maybe Tarak is not as good minner and blacksmith as he could be a fine warrior using the hammer. Nevertheless he's not planning on kicking out the little rascal.
Relatives/Family
Parents: they still live in the Minish Woods.
Brothers: he consider the other six Melari's apprentices as brothers.
Soulmate: Deril
World/Setting
He lives in Hyrule, more exactly in Melari's Mines on Mt. Crenel.
Body
He's tiny being a minish and also he's always dirty with soil and coal, either from exploring or minning. His skin and hair are always filty. He has five fingers and four toes. Is strong enough (pretty much like any mountain minish) like to carry a huge hammer with him that he uses as weapon to defend himself.
Tarak's eyes are like any other minish, but the shades on them are red instead of grey or blue.
Clothing
Mostly, he wears the baggy pants all the apprentices wear, with the years and the dirtiness they have turned from blue to brown and only the red designs remain with the original colors. He also has a sleeveless shirt with turtleneck and a bandana. Tarak wears a pair of wristbands in which he attached a gift from Melari, the little arm guards.
Accessories
A pair of Arm Guards that Melary gave him after an encounter with several monsters. Tarak fought valiantly and Melari forged them as a present for him.
He also wears a pair of googles like all the other apprentices.
