Teeny Bopper
M to the Ax
In a rare moment of reflective creativity and heartfelt vision, Carrie recalls a song she's carefully written and uses her most rarely utilized skill: singing. The very few who've heard it know she has a beautiful voice: soft, fluttering, graceful and resonant. Of course, it positively destroys her pugilistic image, so only a select few are allowed to hear it outside of sneaking a listen outside the bathroom. And even still, she gets embarrassed about being asked to sing anything but punky rock songs.

Also, that measure has slightly too many notes to be 4/4 signature and I only just noticed.

Well considering I can't tell what are the half notes or the quarter notes and that you don't have a time signature or clef of any kind I'd say she's doing pretty good especially if she's suppose to be singing that in 4/4 time. :D

Aww, that's sweet. =) But why can't you have a beautiful singing voice and kick ass at the same time?

The words seem to better fit a 3/4 time signature to me, though, but then again I didn't write it.

Very nice. I've heard poems like this. I'll have to share an altered one of the snake and Dragon.

Reminds me of Lucy from BCB.

Haha, interesting comparison. I guess she's kinda like if Lucy grew up a little and realized what mattered. And if instead of crushing on a socially awkward, obsessive and aloof boy, she decided to date an excitable, dorky girl.

Plus a lot more general self-esteem.

... I was just talking about the seldom used golden singing voice. I haven't actually gotten a chance to read partners yet. (I've also fallen way behind on BCB.)

Haha, most old things like that had incredibly similar meter. It's comparable to old blues songs, if you've experienced it.
