They'd explained how the process worked- his memories downloaded, his brain slowly digitalized, every little bit of organic matter gradually brought to full term in his transformation... but he didn't catch half of it. And though they'd said his body was 'stock,' he was still amazed with it nonetheless. And creating his own custom parts? That would be a new adventure in and of itself.
