The other stuff is just generic fandom whining from people who'll complain about anything, but Equestria Girls really looks as generic and boardroom-driven as a spinoff can be. The premise is clumsy, the art design is questionable, and even the clothing is a big bag of wut. I mean, people have been drawing anthro ponies for years now, sometimes even in ways appropriate for children, and that's the best a multi-million-dollar production can do? Yikes.
