Not contradicting that statement but their E3 this year was minimal (only Nintendo Direct and no proper Press Conference) and the WiiU is really hurting right now. But after what MS did the WiiU looks like a far more appealing console by the very fact that the Xbox One is such a restrictive system in comparison.
The way Nintendo is handling the WiiU reminds me to the N64 era; the console had a lot of potential but the waiting time between games was far apart.

"Waiting time?" Pft. They're announcing games in bursts. Seriously, watch Nintendo Direct. The Wii U has more games than either of those systems, if I recall correctly - and a lot of them look more appealing, if y'ask me.
Between the Wii U and the PS4, it astounds me that the Xbox One is getting any games. I mean, Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be on it and the PS4, and the guys who made Alan Wake have signed one of their games, Quantum Break, over as an Xbox One exclusive. Those both seem like really bad moves.
By the way, a quick reminder that N64 helped set some standards for 3D gaming and had games that were and by some still are considered the best of all time. Nintendo is pretty much the master of slow and steady.

I think Nintendo will still do it, Gamers are much more patient as before, Gamer's knew It's a better idea to just wait and see, Nintendo know what they are doing and you can say that they will deliver nice games out of their top series.
the Rest will run over sony, the poll from amazon comfirmed that 1500 guys would get the XboxOne and like 25.000 people would get the PS4 when they would been out right now. Microsoft kicked out themselves, this happens when people who can't feel the way like Gamers do try to make a gaming console, it's weird to explain but with Nintendo and sony I can at least tell that there are people who know what's important for the media so in the end it will be mostly Sony vs Nintendo but I think Nintendo will take the upper hand but Sony will do fine too
