"My story is complete. I am Jake Pryde, formerly of the Draconis Combine of the Inner Sphere, and presently the honor guard for Queen Sally Acorn. After a brief return trip to the Inner Sphere, I have decided to settle down back on Mobius. I am thankful for the Ancient Walkers to give me this new lease on life, because after I left everything behind for good, I felt a great weight come off my shoulders. I can start over again with a clear head, and more importantly, on my own terms.

Before Jake's second tour into the Inner Sphere, Tails and Jake (as well as the other Spheroid interlopers) were allowed to "separate" and become their own people all over. Tails would revert to his original 12 year old self, and with a new package of technology thanks to Jake's experiences, would resume his technician duties with newfound inspiration.

Jake Pryde's honor guard uniform borrows heavily from the dress uniform of his old military, the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery. He even maintains his old rank pin of Tai-i (Captain) and wears the Draconis Combine seal quite proudly on his uniform. And while he looks fancy enough, his dress is armored underneath with a combination of a dragonscale and ferro-fibrous weave, allowing Jake protection against ballistic and explosive attacks, while still remaining lightweight enough for very fine maneuvering. Even if he looks like a sort of space samurai, he acts it as well, as over the years he has trained himself in the art of the sword. His accuracy with a pistol has also become startlingly deadly (as if it wasn't already), learning a beginner form of Gun-Kata to boot.
