Sorry for the wait everyone, but the sing-along is here! I wanted to post these all at once so you wouldn't know what song I was using. They're singing and dancing to the song 'Cider Drinker' by pirate metal band Alestorm.

Okay, so the band Alestorm doesn't actually exist in Chucky's world, but I'm giving a nod to both them and The Wurzels(the original writers of Cider Drinker) for writing such a fun piece of music. I've tried to stay as close to the lyrics as possible, but there are a few slight adjustments to fit the Chuckyverse. Instrumentally, lets say that James Quinlan the Badger is singing and 'playing the accordion' on this keyboard along with a prerecorded metal mix.

Never heard that expression, does it refer to Jenny?

Yes. Saying a woman in particular is getting green eyes is a way of saying she is becoming jealous.

Did a little checking. Referring to jealousy as a "Green Eyed Monster" dates back at least to Shakespeare's play Othello. In that play, Iago is talking to Othello. He refers to jealousy as a green eyed monster, and says that it is better for a man to be cuckolded and know it, than to be jealous of attentions given to his mate and and uncertain if she was faithful or not. Shakespeare may have coined the phrase, or it may date from even earlier.

Ahh. Well then, that certainly describes her feelings at that moment.

You've never heard the phrase, "Beware the green-eyed monster"?  It's a reference to being envious.  (Although it is quite often used to describe jealousy.)

I've heard it used as "The green monster", not 'green-eyed'.

Really?  Maybe it's a southern phrase.  I've heard it as "the green-eyed monster" for as long as I can remember and I can remember over 60 years.  LOL.  Old ain't I?
