Meet Gill Grunt's parents named Torpedo Grunt and Oceana Grunt.

Torpedo Grunt: Gill Grunt's father. when Gill was growing up in the typical Gillman city on the ocean bottom, he gazed out at the circling cyber squid and menacing mega sharks from his glass bedroom bubble window. He could've been more bored, so he wanted to join the toughest military corps ever to soldier in salt water, the Gillmen marines, when he grows up, right before he realizes his father was from the Gillmen marines. So Gill hears his father's stories about his life as a Gillmen marine from him. But when Torpedo was injured by one of the Seadog pirates during the battle between them and the Gillmen marines, he wounded up in the hospital and he died, in front of poor Gill's eyes when he was 7 years old. He still wanted to join the marines, and he did when he was 18. Gill lost BOTH his father and his mermaid girlfriend by the nasty pirates. Torpedo is deceased.

Oceana Grunt: Gill Grunts Mother. She used the be the celebrity because of her beautiful singing voice, until she met Torpedo when he came back from the war between the Gillmen marines and the Troll army. She retired and she and Torpedo got married and gave birth to Gill Grunt. She's still has the beautiful singing voice which soothes Gill a whole lot whenever he felt sad, which led him to believe himself to be the greatest singer in history, but in truth his singing voice is dreadful, but his mother knows he's trying and loves him despite the dreadful singing voice. She also supports Gill going to be a Gillmen marine, and when he became one, she supported him for that. Oceana still loves Gill Grunt when he became a Skylander when he searches for his mermaid girlfriend. Oceana is alive.
