Nah. I don't like Avarice at all, and Sinestro Corps is meh. Meek might have unorthodox methods of getting things done, but she's still a good person. The ring chose her because she's very strong willed, believe me.

She may have gotten the ring, but did it choose her? Because I'm pretty sure you can't use a Green Lantern power ring without it choosing you. Judging by her outfit, it did choose her.

There have been a few instances of the Rings being used by other individuals. Raynor, iirc, has been known to use a Yellow Ring and Sinestro has (in the Animated Universe, at least) repeatedly used stolen Green Rings, though he could not recharge them. The ambiguously canonical (even for DCAU) Static Shock episode "Fallen Hero" has Static display the ability to recharge a Green Ring (though I can't remember whether he uses it at all) and shows that Sinestro can drain a Lantern Power Battery (not a Central Power Battery, mind you) if a Lantern brought it into their plane of reality.
I think I have to agree that it must have chosen her for the uniform to have formed, though. Of course, there is also the possibility she was already wearing a GL costume and then got her fingers on the Ring...
