This is what i've been working on lately.
It's Cait Sith! OMG! I loooove this itty bitty little kitty <3
Though most people might be like, "Hey wait a minute,this isn't Cait Sith!". However it IS, just not the one they typically think of. She [yes i said she] is also in Final Fantasy XI. Actually there are like 11 different Cait Sith in that game, and that is where i took the character design from. Bit of a Cheshire Cat kind of vibe coming from her, but considering she's like...3 feet tall or so in the game, it just makes her that much more adorable to me.
Actually messed around with this one a bit, so the coloring and linework were done back and forth between photoshop and SAI, though finishing things like lighting and the background were still done in photoshop. I also sadly do not own Cait Sith, she is a design from SquareEnix.
