One of the more...malevolent passages in Maisy's bio stated that she was secretly trying to amass wealth through whatever means possible to upgrade herself into a more powerful form than her sister, Mazinger Zoe. In my defense, this was because Maisy was originally supposed to be, well, a villain (although "antagonistic comedic foil" is probably a more accurate description...that and "bratty half-pint sister"). However, a funny thing happened on the way to Maisy's dark side...I drew a picture of her masturbating. Remember those "click" moments I mentioned a couple uploads back? It happened with Maisy there...I dunno, the sight of this character that I'd been building up as a "Curses, foiled again!" type in such a vulnerable state made me totally rethink her, from motivations to usage to place in the scheme of things. Suddenly, she became important to me. She's since gone on to become my mascot and voicebox in places where I don't send my fursona, as well as the first of my characters to make the jump from pornographic parody to all-ages superhero.

Anyway, a gag quickly developed that Maisy was the K-Girl version of Lucy Van Pelt from "Peanuts," so I couldn't resist drawing this up. Interestingly, this gag mutated into both Maisy's true purpose in the setting, as well as a meta-fictional origin for the galleries in the first place: the pictures of the K-Girls were the result of Maisy and her "crack team of photographers" (aka the other K-Juniors) and that she secretly runs a paysite (later dubbed "KaijuHiddenFantasies.com"...I really should reserve that url one of these days) that she uses originally for the upgrade purposes but, later, to help with the bills for her and Zoe's home and to protect the other K-Juniors. Essentially, Maisy became one of the "shadow powers" of the setting, albeit in a joking way, and the other writers and artists would make jokes about "that damn website" every so often, never knowing WHO was taking the pictures...

I mean, c'mon, she has video cameras for eyes and a constant wireless connection to the Internet. It's not like it was HARD to set up.
