Time for an ancient history lesson! So, long long before I self identified as a furry, I had this anthology of hentai stories I was writing and part of that series was the hybrid series before it became that. Xanti was in it, and Magenta and Irie. After I wrote Magenta's story arc, I decided that I wanted to write another master/slave piece, but instead of having the sub being totally into it like Magenta, I wanted to make a really bratty cat-boy that hated his master and was always rebelling against him, but secretly loves him (typical yaoi stuff). Thus Liev was made. It's ironic because I was forced to make Rhos back then as I wanted his master to not only be much stronger than him physically and in his personality, I also wanted his master to be a species that would freak Liev out (such slimy tentacles ^_^). But Rhos got art much sooner than Liev because I actually fell in love with him a lot more, which usually doesn't happen to me with my doms.
Anyway, tiger hybrids, like other big cat hybrids, make for pretty bad pets. Even though they were bred with the obedience gene like all other hybrids during that period, they are incredibly stubborn and prideful. Most hybrids bred as pets are taken from their parents from a young age to strengthen the bonds with their human masters, but Liev was unlucky enough to have lived with his mother during most of his cubhood, until he was sold to a pet store. Resenting his dependency on humans, he attacked his first master, which landed him in a brothel where Rhos picked him up. Liev hates being a pet to a hybrid (especially an octopus one) even more, but the more time he spent with Rhos, the more he became attached to him.
Unlike Rhos' other pets, Liev is never open about his feelings for his master, but Rhos can see right through him and his brattiness.
