I did this a few months back, but never got around to uploading it on DA.
In all this was a rather fun and inventive build. Drawing inspiration from the Scion Mauler that is featured in BattleZone 2: Combat Commander, I went about trying to streamline the set, and make it more organic in appearance. I had a bit of trouble with the torso/pelvis when it came to structuring it so that it didn't fall apart as a real build. Unlike my previous project - the Red Queen - I deliberately arranged the legs of the Black Queen so that the set was as stable as a tripod can get. Beyond that, the only other thing I have to say about this set is that it's more a model than anything else, as it lacks a Minifig cockpit. Then again, maybe it's good I didn't add a cockpit; that way, I can claim the Black Queen as a Micro-scale set... >
