'there's actually people in this world called 'hermaphrodites'. They can either be a 'chick with a stick' or a 'guy with the goods'.'
'He may be male on the outside, but he's female on the inside...'
'Could it be that Sonic just so happens to be one of those kinds of people? A hermaphrodite? And he just doesn't know it?' Scourge thought. 'it could be possible...'
'And if he is... Then that means...' Arctic eyes widened as Scourge realized why Sonic was acting the way he was. “Sonic's pregnant!”
The green male nearly fell off of his chair in shock.
“I'm overreacting... Sonic can't be pregnant!” Scourge told himself. “He's just... Just...” he sighed heavily as he rested his head on the table.
“Scourge?” Then came Sonic's quiet voice, startling the other. He quickly looked round and saw Sonic standing by the stairway, a blanket wrapped tightly round him as he shivered.
“Sonic?” said male said as he stood. “What's wrong?” he asked as he went to his ill mate.
"I'm cold..." he mumbled.
"You're cold?" Scourge questioned.
'Stripes didn't mention Meph being cold suddenly... So maybe Sonic really is just ill!' He thought, although he wasn't 100% sure.
Sonic nodded, rubbing his head where he was getting a BAD headache.
"Are you hungry love?" Scourge asked. "I made some food for you."
The little male smiled tiredly and nodded. He was hungry, actually, he was starving.
“Go sit down on the couch and I'll bring it to you love. I'll turn up the heating as well.” Scourge called to his mate as he walked into the kitchen.
"Thanks." Sonic murmured, slowly walking into the living room.
Scourge turned up the heating before grabbing the food that he made earlier and returning to his mate on the couch. “Here love.” He said as he handed the food to the blue male.
"Thank you." Sonic mumbled after taking the food. Picking up a fork after Scourge sat down beside him, the Uke slowly began to eat.
“Are you feeling any better?” Scourge asked curiously as he watched his little Uke eat.
Sonic swallowed his mouthful of food before nodding. "I feel a little better..."
“You don't feel sick anymore?” the green male asked as he moved the blanket to cover the small male's neck better.
"I still feel a bit tired and queasy, but not as bad as before." he sighed, having finished his meal.
“Do you want to go back to sleep?”
He shook his head. "I'm tired of bed... Can I stay down here with you?"
“Of course you can love.” Scourge smiled as he wrapped his arm round the other. Sonic smiled and purred, nuzzling his mate.
“Here, let's sort you out.” emerald said as he started taking the blanket off his mate.
Sonic blinked confused.
Scourge smiled as he laid down, pulling Sonic down on top of himself as he draped the blanket over them both. Sonic blushed and smiled, nuzzling his scarred chest.
“There, sorted.” Scourge smiled as he held back a purr.
"You feel better than any blanket." Sonic smiled.
Scourge chuckled at the comment. “Thank you love.” Sonic giggled quietly and watched as Scourge turned on the telly.
“Is there anything particular that you want to watch?” the green “pillow” asked at his blue love.
"It doesn't matter to me." he murmured, his ear right where Scourge's heart was, listening to his strong heartbeat.
“Do you want to watch a move?” green asked.
"Sure." he smiled slightly.
“Any idea what?”
"I like action movies." he murmured, looking at him with those beautiful innocent green eyes.
Scourge smiled. “Do you want to watch Skyfall?”
Sonic nodded. He loved that movie.
“Alright.” Scourge said as he started the movie.
Sonic, happy and thankful that he was feeling better, watched the movie happily snuggled up with his boyfriend. Scourge rested a hand behind his head as he other rubbed the other's back. Sonic purred and enjoyed the rubbing more than the movie.
After the movie ended, Scourge continued to rub Sonic's back, using his other hand to change the channels so another movie was playing. Sonic enjoyed spending time with Scourge just as much as Scourge enjoyed spending time with Sonic. After a few more movies, it was getting late and Sonic was having a hard time keeping his eyes open.
“Tired love?” Scourge whispered down to his mate.
"...Mm-hm." he nodded sleepily with his eyes now closed.
“Do you want to go to bed or sleep here?” green asked as he nuzzled into blue fur.
"I don't feel like moving." he mumbled with a smile when Scourge nuzzled his neck - that being one of his ticklish spots.
“I thought so~” Scourge teased as he nuzzled deeper into his neck. Sonic squealed and giggled, trying to get him to stop but Scourge continued to play with his mate.
"Stop! Stop!" Sonic laughed, squirming to get away only for Scourge to hold on tighter.
“Not gonna happen.” Scourge laughed as he began to tickle his mate's sides.
Sonic laughed till tears fell from his eyes, and only then did Scourge stop with the tickling.
"You okay babe?" Scourge asked as he wiped away Sonic's tears.
"I'm... I'm fine." he panted heavily, trying to get his breathing under control.
“You seem a little tired.” Scourge smirked playfully.
Sonic frowned at him cutely and stuck his tongue out at him. Scourge smirked and retaliated by licking Sonic's tongue with his own. Sonic blushed dark red before quickly taking his tongue back.
Scourge chuckled sexily as he nuzzled Sonic's cheek his his own. “Don't pretend you didn't enjoy it sexy~” he teased.
Sonic blushed again and simply smiled cutely, nuzzling him back before yawning a bit.
“Tired?” green asked as he laid back on the couch.
"Yeah." Sonic sighed.
“You wanna sleep?” green asked as one of his eyes closed lazily.
Sonic nodded, his eyes closing.
“Then sleep.” Scourge mumbled, getting tired himself.
"Night." he purred into his chest.
“Night.” Scourge yawned.
Sonic soon fell asleep with his mate following not long after. Both were soon deep in their sleep.
