Old Ruthless first appeared in The Fearsome Snuggle Ferret, the paper cut-out music video on my YouTube channel (Arrax Shadowfang). The whole cast is in The Crew of The Burrow pool, starting with the captain himself.

How it's made: drawn entirely with code in Godot 4: flat paper shapes placed by a script, printed onto parchment with a shader. No AI image generation.
