It's a warm Christmas this year.
2025 is a big and happy number, and this has been a big and happy year. We had big stages for the e621 Gameshows at both Confuzzled and Eurofurence, I had an adult toy made of my fursona, I almost got Guest of Honour at a convention, and I started full-time work as an artist in a way that's been so fun, enjoyable, and successful.
And, I moved in with my partner. And a month later, atop of a windswept and hailstone-weathered hill dusted in cold cloud, I got down on one knee for them.
For the first time in my life, I'll be spending my whole Christmas with my partner, who will go on to be my partner in truest of senses. This year will not be the start of that; but it is the time when it began to shine that bit brighter.
