A zoom in of Ion's emergency surgery from Harrowing Pain as I really like the details thoustve put in the view behind the glass (and give some more context).

~
The surgeons raced to save Ion's life after he was brought in with a crossbow bolt shot into his gut, his heart was weak and failing, the blood loss was massive that the intravenous had a hard time keeping up replacing was the was loosing, the wound was serious and deep, a significant amount of his intestinal track was a dark red bloody mess, chunks having to be removed and pulled out to centralize the bleeding to dampen the blood loss. They worked quickly as time was not on their side, Ion's heart kept getting fainter and fainter, slowing to a crawl barley keeping him alive, the surgeons eventually decided on giving him a temporary colostomy to just get him to a stable condition, fully re-configuring his intestinal track could come latter if he could pull through. However Ion is a fighter, though barely alive, the surgery was deemed a success for now, his condition was still critical, his heart was still faint as the next few days would be critical to see if Ion would make it or not, but there are two others that would be beside him every step of the way, who vowed to keep him on this side of the light.
