Your design for Spike is very interesting; it reminds me a lot of Maleficent when she’s in her giant dragon form. I have a different design for an AU I’m planning, it’s much closer to his canon adult version, though not overly muscular. It’s sort of an intermediate stage between his younger and adult forms; he’s very tall, almost as tall as Celestia. His scales have turned black due to the excessive use of dark magic, and his irises are a deep crimson red. The spikes on his head and tail (still that same green color) are longer, sharper, and curve backward, much like a shark’s fins. In this AU, he has reclaimed the title of "Dragon Lord" and insists on being called by that name rather than "Spike." Finally, he wears a cloak that matches his black scales on the outside, while the inside features the signature green color of his wings. The cloak is actually an illusion, as Chrysalis, in my AU, tore off his wings, leaving scars on his back that he keeps hidden with this illusion.
