**Item #:** SCP-XXXX
**Object Class:** Euclid
**Mate:** Jason
---
**Special Containment Procedures:**
SCP-XXXX is currently housed in a modified spectral containment chamber at Site-17’s Anomalous Entity Wing. The chamber is lined with spectral-dampening runes and infrared motion sensors. While SCP-XXXX is not hostile, her incorporeal state allows her to phase through conventional barriers. To mitigate unauthorized movement, her chamber includes areas with spiritually conductive materials that she prefers to remain near.
Personnel entering SCP-XXXX’s containment must wear electromagnetic recording devices for documentation and avoid bringing organic matter that may attract her attention out of curiosity.
Contact is allowed for approved Level-2 personnel or higher, provided interaction does not agitate SCP-XXXX’s behavior. Music boxes and lavender-scented items appear to pacify SCP-XXXX and are permitted within containment.

**Description:**
SCP-XXXX, known informally as "Tox," is an incorporeal feline entity resembling a stylized domestic cat with exaggerated features and bioluminescent markings. SCP-XXXX is capable of limited physical interaction, often manifesting partially to interact with objects or individuals she finds intriguing. Her eyes glow with a bright neon hue, and gaseous, flame-like wisps drift from her head and tail. These emissions are cold to the touch and possess no known chemical composition.
Despite her ghostly appearance and the green, toxic-like visuals around her head, SCP-XXXX does not emit any harmful substances. Her "toxicity" is purely aesthetic and believed to be a manifestation of her spiritual energy. She emits soft, glitching purring noises when observed, even when not visible to the naked eye.
SCP-XXXX displays sapient behavior, demonstrating affection, boredom, and curiosity. She has been witnessed phasing through walls to follow personnel or interact with other contained entities, though she shows no aggression.
SCP-XXXX has a strong aversion to sudden loud noises and will "dematerialize" temporarily when startled. When calm, she will rematerialize near familiar staff or return to her chamber.

**Addendum XXXX-A:**
SCP-XXXX was first encountered near the ruins of an abandoned animal shelter in █████, Oregon, following reports of a "glowing ghost cat" that appeared in security footage. Foundation operatives secured the area after numerous sightings and isolated spiritual interference. SCP-XXXX approached containment agents voluntarily.

**Note from Dr. Marlowe Quinn:**
> "She's not a threat, just a lonely little spirit. I think she was looking for someone to notice her again. We may not know how or why she remains, but she seems to have found some peace here."
