Character Sheet for Old Three-Eyes
Character Description
"Old Three-Eyes" is the subject of an ancient prophecy that foretold the indiscriminate destruction of the world; at the hands of a three-eyed god known by many different names (though consistently described as a "colossal mass of bones wreathed in flame"), as the ancient prophecy was translated into various languages and religious interpretations. "Old Three-Eyes" is an agnostic name used to generally refer to the entity referenced across various interpretations.
Despite Old Three-Eyes' widely accepted canon within the major faiths, every proposed "Day of Judgement" has come and gone without nary a peep from this god who was supposed to destroy the world, causing no shortage of theological turmoil.
In truth, Old Three-Eyes did already return, but was defeated soon after his resurrection by the Great Witch Ophelia, deep in an uninhabited wasteland with no one to witness this grand battle.
Ophelia recognized Three-Eyes' true nature; his mind was shattered by the unfathomable pain he was in for simply existing. His "destruction of the world" was not something he did intentionally; he was writhing in agony. Rather than finish him off, Ophelia trapped his soul in a doll; with his new artificial body, he should be free from agony and return to his senses...?
Unfortunately, his sense of self had long crumbled away into nothing, and with no baser instincts to build off of, he could barely be considered smarter than an ant (if even), staring blankly into the distance or screeching incessantly for hours on end. Disappointed, but feeling obligated to babysit this (potential) apocalypse-to-be, Ophelia made him her familiar, and began the arduous task of helping him rebuild everything he had lost. And, maybe, he won't destroy the world by the end of it.
Personality
Over many long years, Three-Eyes would become very attached to Ophelia, though his gestures of affection would take a long time to develop beyond simply being in physical contact with her. While he can be very protective of Ophelia, he has a lot of trouble determining what is a threat, or even when Ophelia herself is in peril or how to actually be of help to her.
Three-Eyes would gradually learn basic words and commands, but rarely speaks more than one word at a time.
Ophelia hopes one day he'll get to the point she can have full conversations with him; or better yet, regain his memories from before he became "Old Three-Eyes"-- and what antediluvian knowledge he might be able to impart upon her.
Body
Old Three-Eyes' doll body is an old toy given to Ophelia by her "Teacher", and was the first gift she ever received, and naturally has a lot of sentimental value to her.
Eventually, Three-Eyes would learn to channel a fraction of his true power, and form a larger and more imposing exoskeletal form around his doll-body, better suited for combat.
Despite his visually reduced state, Three-Eyes is not significantly weaker than his original state, and Ophelia begins questioning whether or not she could actually defeat him now.
