A little portrait of Chilly I made for the amazing @_kasscabel! ✨
Had a lot of fun experimenting with light and shadow, especially the contrast between warm and cool tones! I also really enjoyed working on the tattoo details >w<
The freckles and tattooed markings work very well hand-in-hand together for this darling exceptional hybrid dragon-wolfess character! Her snarling pose is also lovely to bear witness to.
Here's a wild random question: in capturing Chilly's exact positioning for this piece, did you by chance strike a pose in front of a mirror yourself to capture her most crucial little details just right? Mostly in her hands, especially their positioning and the overall composition of this piece as a whole.... If so, I highly commend your efforts! And if not, that's perfectly fine either way! I was just curious since her pose feels so organic, natural and super-eloquent to me! I also enjoy how prominent the contrasting between warm & cool tones stands to be in a visual sense, you've declared that visual stimuli quite well in this piece! Expertly depicted, Nyx-Sama. Its always such a fun, engaging sight to behold to witness artwork created from pure passion and the fundamental joy of creation and raw creative experimentation.
I can certainly tell you had fun with this piece, the end result shows! ;3 How extraordinary!! Thanks for sharing 😎 🦊
