One unexpected consequence of spending a century in the shrine of resurrection was a drastic loss in height. Alongside having his memory wiped, Link also had to endure waking up in the darkness of the shrine at an incredibly tiny size, half the size of a regular minish. Still, determined to fulfill his old mission, the plucky hero embarked on a multi-weeklong trip across the ravaged, and massive, landscapes of Hyrule to quell the fury of the four divine beasts.
Nevertheless, Link’s courage quickly evaporated once he made it to the zora’s domain and realized that a massive zora councilman with a century’s worth of grudges may be a tougher challenge than Vah Ruta itself. No amount of rolling and sprinting would have been able to out speed his sky-filling foot…
