Blitz may not look it but he's fucking terrified in this situation. These creatures can steal the soul of someone in one touch, and blitz barely staved off the first strike. And yet, Mesh here was going to probably die if Blitz didnt interfere here. Against his best judgement he rushed to be a hero.
Blitz is always looking for a fight, but in this case, after finding he couldnt touch them, and one of the party members got their soul stolen, he and everyone else bid a hasty retreat. And yet, he still stepped in to save Mesh here, as he was best equipped to get away from the creatures.
