PSA: That blurry text is meant to show that other folks are talking through a wall and it's hard to hear it. 1. That's hard to display in a visual medium without being extremely obvious about it ("Hmm, there are folks in the other room talking. I can't make it out") 2. I'd love to hear any better ideas for how to show that. ^^;
Oh, trust me, I understand. By emphasizing something (anything), some people get all weird about it saying something to the effect of, "We KNOW she's got a pouch! You don't have to continually point it out! JEEZ!" LOL. And I'm not saying that I don't like it when you occasionally show it. It's just that I get so engrossed in a story that, sometimes, things I consider relatively unimportant get pushed to the back of my mind and stored there. So, please don't misunderstand when you show something that you've already stated and it kind of shocks me. I'm the same way with names. I'll completely forget a character's name until someone mentions it to me. So, please don't mind me when I mention something that I should know. I'm old (71) and my memory gets a wee bit askew at times.
