Thank you, doggo ;w; It’s definitely one of the heavier things I’ve drawn lately. I mostly just needed to get some feelings out, and honestly it was a bit hard to finish because I wasn’t really in the mood to keep working on it.

"Yearning"... a perfectly apt title to accomodate this groundbreaking vent art. Oh my GOD this piece provokes the deepest, darkest feelings from within. I feel as if so many of us equally endure this kind of an endless harrowing struggle all too often in life. Nyx-Sama, this gifted yet dark illustration is such an impressive and universal coda, to be stuck in the grind of monotony while everyone else moves on with fair uninhibited ease - one cannot help but emphasize with Nyx in this sort of cruel, unusual and seriously unfair situation.
My shepcoon heart goes out to you, dear precious fellow artist!! I'm just happy that you were able to share this illustration, even if its dark and venting in nature... it took true courage and bravery to spill your deepest thoughts and emotions unto us like this. I can't imagine how much pain & heartache Nyx contends with on a regular basis, vicariously through Evelyn Dawson. Poor Evie, this is SUCH a relatable feeling for so many of us! :'(
I applaud & admire your ability to channel your deepest feelings into such a visually compelling work of art such as this. If true art was made to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed, then I consider myself quite comfy upon this day.
Naturally as always, I thank you kindly for taking on enough personal self-incentive to share this profound venting artwork... it may not seem like much but your art can and does truly make a WORLD of difference in the hearts & minds of some of us! 🥹❤️
Blessed be, my friend. *offers a few more shepcoon hugs*

Thank you so much, Max. This one came from a pretty raw place emotionally, so I honestly wasn’t sure whether I even wanted to post it at first.
Nyx gives me a way to put certain feelings somewhere outside of myself without having to explain every single detail behind them, and I think that’s part of why creating them has been useful to me lately. Sometimes drawing something miserable is strangely easier than trying to put the same feeling into words xD
I’m really glad you liked the piece, even if it’s a sad one. And hugs back <3
