Another subspecies of an extinct creature, defend themselves by emitting electrical charges that amplifies for each individuals
--DATABANK--
A subspecies of wiwaxia that survived extinction. Originally just the size of a palm compared to their 5cm extinct cousins, the coast they found in were found to have been dumped with chemicals and batteries from some now abandoned factories. They seems to be able to feasts on these wastes and keeping the water clean, but the chemical must've mutated some of them into the electrical variant we see today.
They lives in clusters, usually on rock surface. When disturbed, it would emits an electrical charge. Although mildly tinging on it's own, it also triggers defensive instincts of other nearby Wizapias, causing a chain reaction of built-up electrical charge, which can become powerful enough to temporarily disables machineries in
the same manner as an EMP blast.
When there's no electrical wastes to feast on, they forages the rocks they're on for algae. They don't appears to be hunted by predators.
