Weekly It Doesn't Matter (my big, dumb, giant Sonic TF animation thing) progress check-in! I'm so excited with how this monster is growing!
"Your Dad thinks Furries Built the Pyramids?" THANK YOU, ZACS, FOR YOUR AMAZING IMPROV LINE. ^_^ Yeah, I don't get to take credit for that beat, that was 1000% Zacs when we were doing a line read run-through. There were a bunch of moments like that where he punched up the script, which was exactly what I was hoping for with my cast.
^_^ Zacs, Imaginary, and Gazzy all bring so damn much to the table, it was such a fuckin' blast to get us all in a room together to record for Zone 1, and I'm so glad we were able to record Zone 2 on Discord calls. We each had to record locally, and I needed them to send me their own takes so Discord didn't eat all the quality...which I DID NOT explain the way I should have for the first thirty minutes or so of the first of the sessions with Zacs and Imaginary! Fuckin' whoops!
^_^ But we got there, and got everything made.
This is such a big honkin' scene I made Imaginary carry with Tails' long, loooooong lines of essentially exposition. ^_^ This is the first time Tails and Knux have to just fuckin' examine the wild-ass situation they're in, and they can feel the clock ticking all the while.
^_^ And my dumb ass is the one filtering all these thoughts and feelings and writing these ridiculous rapid-fire machine-gun cavalcades of words for Tails, and then completely unwilling to cut it down!
^_^ So yeah. Imaginary carries this scene so hard, and Zacs REALLY sprinkled in the much-needed levity to make it tolerable.
