*Wolf Vox's Mate | Hazbin Hotel OC*
### 🐺 Basic Information
* **Name:** Zynthera
* **Nickname:** Zyn
* **Gender:** Female
* **Species:** Half-Normal Wolf / Half-Demon Wolf
* **Universe:** *Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss*
* **Relationship Status:** Mated to Wolf Vox
* **Mate:** Wolf Vox (redesigned version)
* **Residence:** Hell
* **Distinguishing Features:** One demon wing, glowing eyes, red-and-black fur, wrist shackles, and a demonic tail.
### ❤️ Appearance
Zynthera is a beautiful but unusual wolf with a deep crimson-red coat contrasted by dark charcoal-black fur. Her black markings cover much of her face, ears, legs, and underside, giving her an intimidating appearance despite her gentle personality.
Her most striking feature is her **single black-and-red demon wing**.
Unlike other winged demons, Zynthera possesses only one wing. Because she has no second wing to balance and generate the lift needed for flight, **she cannot fly at all**. Her single wing is part of her demonic appearance, but it cannot carry her into the sky.
She has a long, dark tail with a crimson tip and unusual glowing eyes that stand out against her dark markings.
Around her wrists are white restraints connected to metal chains and shackles. Their presence hints at a painful history that she rarely discusses.
Despite her demonic characteristics, Zynthera still retains many ordinary wolf traits.
### 🖤 Personality
Zynthera is gentle, cautious, affectionate, and fiercely loyal to the wolves and demons she trusts.
Although she is half demon, she sometimes feels uncomfortable showing that side of herself. She uses magic to conceal some of her demonic features, hoping others will see her as an ordinary wolf rather than something frightening.
However, hiding her true nature can be exhausting.
Her personality includes:
* **Gentle:** She prefers peaceful interactions over fighting.
* **Protective:** She will defend her loved ones if they are threatened.
* **Affectionate:** She enjoys cuddling with Wolf Vox and spending time with him.
* **Insecure:** Her single wing sometimes makes her feel different from other demons.
* **Strong-willed:** She refuses to let her limitations define her.
* **Trusting:** Once someone earns her trust, she becomes a devoted companion.
* **Courageous:** Even without the ability to fly, she faces dangers on the ground.
Zynthera doesn't need to be the strongest demon in Hell. She simply wants to be accepted for who she is.
### ⛓️ Her Shackles and Hidden Past
The shackles around Zynthera's wrists are a constant reminder of her past.
She doesn't like discussing why she wears them, and she often uses magic to conceal her demonic features because she fears being judged or mistreated.
Whether she is hiding from her past or simply trying to feel normal, one thing is certain: she wants the freedom to choose who she becomes.
Wolf Vox never pressures her to explain herself.
He understands that trust cannot be forced.
Instead, he gives her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable around him.
For Zynthera, that patience means more than she can express.
### 🪽 Her Single Demon Wing
Zynthera's single wing is one of her most distinctive features.
Unlike demons with two functional wings, she cannot take flight.
**She has only one wing, and one wing alone isn't enough for her to fly.**
She can move and stretch it, but she cannot use it to carry herself through the air. Sometimes, she watches other demons flying across Hell and wonders what it would feel like to experience that freedom.
Although she occasionally feels insecure about it, she gradually learns that being unable to fly doesn't make her weak.
She can still run, jump, climb, and explore Hell on all four paws.
And whenever she feels discouraged, Wolf Vox reminds her that she doesn't have to fly to go places with him.
### 💙 Her Relationship with Wolf Vox
Zynthera is the mate of Wolf Vox, the friendly demon wolf who belongs to the original Vox from *Hazbin Hotel*.
Their relationship is built on affection, trust, and mutual acceptance.
Wolf Vox is much more laid-back and friendly than his owner. While the original Vox is ambitious, controlling, and often antagonistic toward Alastor, Wolf Vox prefers enjoying life and getting along with others.
Zynthera appreciates this difference.
She doesn't expect her mate to be powerful, feared, or respected by every demon in Hell. She loves him because of his personality.
In return, Wolf Vox accepts her unusual appearance, her single wing, and her insecurities.
He never treats her as broken or incomplete.
**To Wolf Vox, Zynthera is already perfect just the way she is.**
#### 💞 Their relationship dynamic
* Wolf Vox often cuddles beside Zynthera when they're relaxing.
* Zynthera can calm Wolf Vox down when he becomes frustrated with his owner.
* Wolf Vox encourages her not to hide her true appearance around people she trusts.
* Zynthera is protective of Wolf Vox whenever someone mistakes him for his meaner counterpart.
* They enjoy exploring Hell together, even when their adventures lead to trouble.
* Wolf Vox frequently reminds her that she never has to pretend to be someone else to earn his love.
Zynthera also knows that, despite his cheerful personality, Wolf Vox can become upset when people treat him as inferior to the original Vox.
She helps him remember that being kind isn't a weakness.
### 📺 Wolf Vox's New Redesign
Wolf Vox has undergone a significant redesign!
**He no longer has a television for a head.** Instead, he now has the appearance of a proper demon wolf, with dark navy-blue fur, cyan and hot-pink markings, bright digital-looking eyes, and distinctive technological patterns.
His new appearance includes:
* Dark navy-blue fur.
* Cyan-colored paws and markings.
* Hot-pink accents along his body and tail.
* Bright, expressive eyes with a digital aesthetic.
* A white chest ruff.
* A pink bow tie with a technological symbol.
* Cyan markings resembling electronic signals and heartbeats.
* Large wolf ears with cyan and pink inner coloring.
His new design preserves the technological aesthetic associated with Vox while allowing him to look more like an actual wolf.
His personality remains the same: laid-back, friendly, affectionate, and considerably easier to get along with than his owner.
His relationship with Zynthera also remains unchanged. He still loves her, supports her, and accepts her for who she is.
### 📡 Zynthera and the Original Vox
Zynthera knows that Wolf Vox belongs to the original Vox, but she understands that the two are very different individuals.
The original Vox can be intimidating, manipulative, and quick to anger. Wolf Vox, on the other hand, is much friendlier and often questions his owner's questionable decisions.
Zynthera doesn't necessarily approve of everything the original Vox does.
In fact, she may occasionally find herself defending her mate when the original Vox becomes overly controlling.
However, she knows that Wolf Vox genuinely loves his owner, even when the two argue.
She doesn't want to come between them. She simply wants Wolf Vox to be treated with the same affection and respect that he gives others.
### 🔥 Abilities
**Demonic Strength:** Zynthera possesses greater strength than an ordinary wolf.
**Enhanced Senses:** Her wolf instincts provide excellent hearing, smell, and night vision.
