Another character I'll be adding to my Art Fight lineup as soon as the site is up and running again. Inspired by a scene from the Star Trek episode "Journey to Babel" where Spock's mother Amanda described to Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy his pet Sehlat: "A kind of fat teddy bear". "A teddy bear?" chuckles McCoy. "That is not entirely true," explains Spock. "On Vulcan, the teddy bears are alive and have 6-inch fangs." So I decided to make him into a teddy bear. Don't let his appearance fool you; he's intelligent, loyal to his people, and quite logical. Of course he's not beyond emotional support; when he senses someone whose "emotional shields" are failing, he'll approach them and offer a comforting touch and maybe a hug (Just watch out for those fangs.) Happy Anniversary, Star Trek.🖖.Live long and prosper!
