Kyn, being part Jolteon, means she has the power of electricity coursing through her body. She can generate, store, and release electricity from her body with relative ease, and though her electricity is relatively harmless, it can also be deadly to her, especially if she forcefully stores too much of it all at once.

Known as her Overcharge Form, she achieves this only by holding back multiple attempts to discharge her electricity naturally, either through sickness or general use. Keeping this charge can overwhelm her, and with enough stimuli or emotional distress, she can unintentionally unlock this form.

After a powerful electrical discharge, she grows an excessive amount of fur that collects behind her and, with this extra electricity, is reformed into two hulking arms made of charred fur. Her electricity keeps the form in shape and has enough weight to crush a medium sized sedan. However, the more pressing issue is its abundance of electricity crackling through it, making it painful to touch and act as a layer of defence. In her Overcharged Form her fur can also rapidly grow back, allowing her to maintain her new arms even if it severed.

Another interesting feature is her tail tip where her electricity is stored. A burst of energy reshapes it into an 8 tipped star, glowing brighter than ever and surging with power. Her tail tip is coated with dense, hardened fur that makes it nearly impenetrable, while allowing her to safely release excess electricity throughout her body. In this state, however, her tail cannot shoot electricity as she normally could, and could only shoot it through her new limbs. This makes the rest of her body quite vulnerable, as the first discharge into this form also temporarily short-circuits Kyn's brain, reverting her into a mindless creature with one goal in mind. What that might be is dependent on what triggered her form, and until all her electricity is released, she is stuck in this form.

It is unknown as to why she can do this, as more study is required, but needless to say, if you feel a cackle of energy running up your spine and the night sky is almost as bright as the day, you better watch out. Kyn is coming, and she's ready to hunt.

I didn't intend this to connect to the Cleaning the Unknown story idea I have, but the more I wrote this the more the idea intrigued me, leading me to have an alternate version of Kyn who lives in this universe. What that means I do not know just yet, but needless to say, with the cogs in my head turning ever faster as Spooky Month begins, the more I want to write scenes based on this world.

Also, HAPPY SPOOKY MONTH!!

Wanted to do play with Kyn's natural ability to generate electricity, and came up with this fun little pic that I just HAD to draw! It's a bit different from my usual art and I was largely hoping to experiment with electricity again, but I kinda like how this came out and wanted to share it with y'all.

I got SO MUCH more in store for the month, so I hope you're all ready for some spooooooky stories! I have lots to share, so please, stick around, grab a cup of hot cocoa, and let's get spooky!!

Luv y'all! <3
