Dead Last: "Mascot of a popular Halloween event"
Treat: Mickey Mouse - Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween
Right out of the gate and I'm already going against this year's rules by both posting the treat before the trick and only one picture, but their my arbitrary rules and I can break them as I please! Besides, it'll all make sense in the end; trust me...or don't I suppose, it's your choice!
So what exactly is Mickey Mouse of all characters doing in a Halloween Countdown? Well as some of you may know that I-(regrettably)-live in the colorful lawless swamp that is Florida. As such it brings certain constants in one's life, and once the Halloween season hits that means one thing -- Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween!
It's Disney's World's annual Halloween event and while Mickey himself doesn't exactly ring 'Halloween', living under the ever oppressive eye of the Mouse makes it as essentially to Floridians view of Halloween as jack-o-lanterns and candy! It's less the character and more what it represents to a very specific version of Halloween in a place that-(also regrettably)-doesn't really experience it so I'd be remiss if I never gave it, as well as the iconic Haunted Mansion, the shout out it deserves in a proper countdown.
Of course, this decision was made easier knowing I had a perfect counterpart to it, but that's just something you're going to have to wait to see~
